InnoPandaMo Cultural Limited was recently invited to Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College in Macao to deliver a professional development workshop entitled “AI-Empowered PBL and Interdisciplinary Curriculum Design.” The second session of the programme has now been successfully completed, bringing teachers together to explore project-based learning, interdisciplinary curriculum planning and the practical use of artificial intelligence in lesson preparation.
Grounded in authentic teaching and learning contexts within Macao schools, the workshop combined case analysis, group discussion, collaborative curriculum design and hands-on AI practice. Teachers were guided to identify suitable PBL themes based on students’ experiences, school life and subject content, and to develop these initial ideas into meaningful, inquiry-driven and achievable driving questions.
Throughout the session, teachers from different subject areas contributed their professional perspectives on curriculum objectives, student needs, data collection, learning outcomes and project feasibility. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, initial ideas were gradually transformed into clearer and more practical curriculum directions.
AI tools were introduced as a form of support for collaborative planning and curriculum design. They assisted teachers in expanding ideas, refining driving questions and reviewing the feasibility of proposed learning activities. The workshop also emphasised that AI should not replace teachers’ professional judgement, but should instead support educational goals and respond to students’ actual learning needs.
Project-based learning is not only concerned with the final product. It also values the learning process through which students observe, investigate, analyse, collaborate, communicate and reflect while addressing authentic problems.

Through this programme, participating teachers further developed a shared understanding of PBL and interdisciplinary curriculum design, laying a solid foundation for future school-based collaboration and classroom implementation.
InnoPandaMo Cultural Limited sincerely thanks the teaching team at Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College for their active participation and professional contributions. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the school and supporting teachers in transforming innovative curriculum ideas into meaningful classroom practice.
